Heather Desormeaux

I’m a Canadian watercolour artist who is greatly inspired by the beauty of nature. I often focus on soft botanicals, landscapes in all forms of the changing seasons and other items I find beautiful in every day life. My artwork is often in a clean, minimalistic style using eye catching colours. I personally love being in nature, either in my garden or hiking in the woods and this is where I draw much of my artistic ideas. Nuthatch Artistry is the name I chose to represent my artwork because of the abundance of nuthatch birds in my area of Canada. My goal is to bring a feeling of calmness and happiness through my paintings.
